Following John Simcox’s elimination in 9th, defending Lucky Hearsts Poker Open HORSE champion Ben Matthews was the next go in 8th.

Matthews got in an Omaha 8 raising war with Michael Roseingrave on a board. Matthew got all in with versus the of Roseingrave. The board completed with the and and Matthews’ high and low draws were rendered useless. Roseingrave’s aces took the whole pot and Matthews busted 9th earning $445.
