Four of the players from last night’s all-star final table in Event 15 are back for more today.
The champion, Matt Stout is here and seated right next to Faraz Jaka. Jason Mercier is also playing along with Shannon Shorr and Cliff Goldkind.
With last night’s heads-up match between Stout and Mercier ending around 3:30 AM, it just goes to show the grind never stops for the best as they look for this WPT title.

Another very interesting combination was spotted seated next to each other here in this Championship Event.
Matt Weinman, who won Event 12 at the 2014 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open is in the house and seated next to poker superstar “Mad” Marvin Rettenmaier. Expect the two poker personalities to keep their opponents on their toes with their sharp wits and top-level poker talent as they try to advance to Day 2 today.

We’re back from the break here in our Championship event and already 313 entries have been recorded putting the tournament on an outstanding pace for the $3,000,000 guarantee. With two more starting days, it should be an exciting start to this WPT Lucky Hearts Poker Open Championship event.
Players can re-enter up to the start of Level 7 so there’s still plenty of time to take a shot in Day 1A and make a run at this WPT title, the big money and your name on the WPT Champions Cup.

Angel Vu raised to 800 preflop from middle position, and two players called. The flop fell 
and all three players checked. The 
followed on the turn and Vu bet 800. Both opponents called and the river delivered the 
. The button led out for 1,000 and Vu called but the other opponent folded. The button flipped over 
and she won the hand with quad aces.

Matt Stout in now in the 1A field, just a few hours after hoisting a trophy.
Stout was the last player standing after a very tough final table in the $2,200 6-Max event which included Jason Mercier (2nd), Darryll Fish (3rd), and Shannon Shorr (4th). The jovial grinder picked up more than $53,000 for his title and he’s back in action sitting next to Faraz Jaka.
