Main Event Day 1A: First Break

$1,500 + $150 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Poker Open” Main Event

Blinds: 75/150/25 ante

The deep stacked, big buy-in Main Event has not slowed down some of the players as the early action is moving quickly. Lius Santino is a regular in The Poker Room at Seminole Hard Rock and he is now firing his second bullet in the Main Event. He was walking downstairs and flashed the universal sign for busted out.

“Let’s try this again,” Santino said as he headed towards the cashier to buy back in.

We also found an empty which was once occupied by Seniors Event winner Jeff Kessler but were unable to find out his circumstances. Two players at his former table found hands worth taking into battle with AcAs against KdKs. They were both on their feet with the Aces looking happy and even more so on the Ad5h3h flop. That was the last of his joy as the dealer ran out the board 2d and 4h for a wheel on the board to chop it up.

Players are off on their first break of the day and the board is showing 184 entrants currently register with two more levels to get in the game or re-enter. The most recent entrant was former WSOP November Niner and WPT Champion David “Chino” Rheem.
