Weekend players who drew Table 2 at the start of the Main Event will a little tougher path to the championship. Adam “Roothlus” Levy was the first to take his seat at the table and was joined minutes later by Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi in the 1-seat.
The two players have combined to win nearly $17 million in career tournament earnings with most of that on Mizrachi’s ledger. The Miami resident is a 3-time WSOP bracelet winner, 2-time WPT champion, and has recorded six tournament cashes of a $1 million or more.
Players continue to lineup at the cage to buy into the Main Event bringing the total entrants up to 168 midway through the second level.
