$1,500 + $150 Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Poker Open” Main Event
Blinds: 150/300/50 ante
The final numbers are in and the Seminole Hard Rock “Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open” Main Event Day 1A drew a big crowd of 210 entrants for a great start to the event.
Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi and Nigel Murray are off to blistering starts and look to be among the first to build six-digit stacks. Adam “Roothlus” Levy was moved upstairs to Table 41 and was soon joined by Darryll Fish. Levy can’t catch a break on the tough tables today.
The first three seat at Table 34 are occupied by Chino Rheem, Eric Piderit, and Edina Pantinchin. One pro, one local, and one model. Pantinchin was quick to point out she has skills at the table and won the Turbo event here in April during the Seminole Hard Rock Showdown. She is chipping up nicely today after eliminating an opponent after the break with AK over AQ all-in preflop.
Tournament staff beginning to count down the field and 135 of the starting 210 entrants are still around with a chance. There are a few tables remaining in the cash game area but they will be breaking soon, putting the entire field on the upstairs tournament tables.
