South Florida’s Michael Newman has already tasted success during this year’s Fun in the Sun Poker Open. The Seminole Hard Rock regular worked through a tough, 151-entry field in trophy Event 3, a $350 Black Chip Bounty event. He couldn’t find the W, but did work his way to a four-way chop. As such, he went down in third place and scored $3,340.

Newman is hoping for another deep finish as he’s still in the running here with only four tables left.
