Day 1B of the November Holiday Special has come to an end with Raminder Singh (pictured above) leading the15 survivors. He’ll enter Day 2 second in chips with 311,000, trailing chip leader Ricardo Eyzaguirre who has a sizable chip lead with 550,500.

Singh steadily rose the chip counts throughout the day and when his starting table broke, he was moved to a new table with Scott Baumstein on his direct left. The two clashed several times, culminating with a race for Baumstein’s tournament life. Singh’s ace-king won the coinflip against Baumstein’s pocket jacks, and from there Singh went on to bag the Day 1B lead.

The remaining 33  players are in the money and are set to return for Day 2 on Sunday at noon. Full chip counts can be found here and the Day 2 table and seat assignments are now posted.
