Flight A continues building and has Event 15 nearly a quarter of the way to the $1,000,000 all by itself with a big weekend coming up.

We found Dimitry Vorbe back in the Grand Ballroom and he is among a very small, elite group of players. We’ve only crowned eight Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Champions in our history and Vorbe is the reigning champ. He outlasted the 1,180-entry field in the 2021 SHRPO Championship for the win and a huge $929,365 payout.

Event 15 recently returned from a break which means Event 16 is ready for one of its own. The $600 Limit Omaha 8 tournament started an hour later so they’ll be tailing the big NLH tournament.

There are 59 entries in the game so far, creeping up on the number we had in January, with some familiar faces in their first action of the series including reigning GPI Female Player of the Year Nadya Magnus.
