Level 18:  4,000/8,000 with a 8,000 ante
Players Remaining:  37 of 301

Matt Lambrecht

After a marathon bubble and the 17th round of hand-for-hand, we had another all-in called.

We caught the three-way action with the flop reading Ts9s3c and Matt Lambrecht all-in for what looked to be about 80,000. Ben Mosche and Adi Ben Ami checked the 8s turn and Mosche checked the 8c river.

Ben Ami bet 125,000 and Mosche thought for a minute before he flashed the Js and mucked.

Ben Ami: QhJd
Lambrecht: KsKd

Lambrecht had a monster but Ben Ami made a queen-high straight to take the pot and burst the bubble.

Adi Ben Ami – 925,000 (116 bb)
Matt Lambrecht  –  Eliminated

To make things interesting, both Steven Karp and Mike Amato were set to be forced all-in on the next hand with short stacks in the big blind. Both survived and Karp is still going.

It was a fair fight and Gelman needed his eights to hold to double near the bubble. But Benjamin took the lead when he paired his ace on the AdJc7s flop. The 5c turn and Qh river finished the board and Gelman was eliminated.

Things are running very slow at this point with the average stack in the 50 big blind territory and all sweating the money bubble.

Until we pick up, we’d like to remind you that the Deep Stack Poker Series Main Event gets underway tomorrow with the first of three flights. It is a $1,700 buy-in Deepest Stack No-Limit Hold’em tournament with a $300,000 guaranteed prize pool.

They’ll start with huge 50K stacks and have 40 and 60 and 90-minute levels to give them plenty of play.

The last two winners of that tournament are still alive in the $600 Deeper Stack. Johnny Bromberg won the title in 2024 and finished third to 2025 winner Michael Newman.
