The Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood is great about running satellites into their main events, and this year’s Lucky Hearts Poker Open has been no exception.

Yesterday’s satellites were hugely successful, with 67 seats awarded into the main event. Today’s 3pm satellite had 119 entries, and the Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood is adding $110 to the prizepool to award a full 12 seats.

The Main Event reached Level 9 and the last before the dinner break. More players grabbed a seat including former SHRPO Event 1 champ Dan “Miami Boss” Suied. He generally sticks to the cash games but will play some tournament poker when the best events hit the schedule.

Others recent additions include TK Miles, Jon Turner, Marcus Stein, David Inselberg, and Loni Harwood.

Victor Figueroa

Victor Figueroa called a middle raise to 1,400 and the small blind player called as well. The big blind player shipped all in for 6,800 to get one fold. Figueroa and the small blind player called and checked it down until the board read JdTc4hQd2s and the small blind bet 4,500.

Figueroa thought for a second and called. The small blind tabled KdQh for a pair of queens but Figueroa’s rivered set with 2d2c was good after the all-in player showed 6d6h.

Victor Figueroa – 79,000 (132 bb)

He’s back with us this afternoon looking to run that $1,100 into another title.
