Jason Young
Action folded around to Jason Young in the small blind and he moved all in for 1,100,000. Duek quickly called and Young needed help.
Young: Duek:
“That’s ok,” Young said. “I’m going to get there.”
He flopped a deuce on the board but Duek also paired his king. The turn and river were blanks and the 2008 WSOP $1,500 Shootout champ was eliminated in ninth place.
Michael Duek – 3,475,000 (23 bb) Jason Young – Eliminated to 9th place ($13,809)

Richard Carr opened to 350,000 from middle position, Angel Bracho called next to act, and the rest of the table released. The flop came and Carr continued to 425,000. Bracho shrug-called, the turn came and Carr bet another 900,000.
Bracho called and the board finished with the river. Carr announced all in and Braco did not take long (or look happy) to call. Carr showed for the turned Broadway straight and Bracho’s was no good. They counted down the stacks and Carr was all in for 2,775,000.

Bracho: Shiao:
Shiao was ahead for the double up and improved on the flop though Bracho picked up the diamond draw. The turn gave Shiao aces up but the river filled the flush for Bracho to send the 2015 WSOP Monster Stack champ out in tenth place.
Angel Bracho – 11,800,000 (79 bb) Perry Shiao – Eliminated in 10th place ($8,935)

Willie Wiggins
There were three limps from Angel Bracho, Perry Shiao, and Michael Newman before Scott Robbins raised to 700,000. Willie Wiggins called in the big blind and the three limpers folded.
The flop came and Wiggins fired 500,000. Robbins called, the turn was and Wiggins kept going for another 675,000. Robbins checked his cards and “Angry Scott” fired his cards into the muck.
“He’s a beast!” Michael Newman said from the other side of the table.
“That was a good run out against my pocket jacks,” Robbins told Wiggins.
“If you had jacks,” Wiggins responded. “You had me crushed.”

Kasper: Robbins:
Kasper was behind with two live cards but the board blanked to send him out in 11th place.
Tournament staff paused the clock and they are redrawing seats for the ten-handed final table.

Michael Newman
We have bonus poker this afternoon in the Event Center with an extra day to find a winner in the Ultimate Re-Entry tournament to open the series. Of the 4,508 starting entries, only 11 players remain with a chance for the title and 2017 RRPO Championship Michael Newman leads the way.
We also have two WSOP bracelet winners in contention, Jason Young and Perry Shiao, among the talented lot coming back.
With more than a quarter of a million dollars waiting for the winner, their skill will be on display with plenty of chips in play and the average stack at 45 big blinds.
They will put cards back in the air at 2pm and we will have all the action from start to finish.
The Six-Max tournament is off to a banging start with enough players to get them halfway to the $100,000 Guarantee in the first level. The short-handed format allows them a little more room to stretch out and enjoy the grind.
Former SHRP champ Jay Romano, November Niner Neil Blumenfield, and inaugural Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year Angel Vu are among the early entrants. Also in the field so far we found Carey Pickus, Richard Rice, and Marie Harrell among many others.
It is just before the noon hour in the Hard Rock Event Center and poker tournament action is just moments away from kickoff. Getting Tuesday’s play started is a $570 buy-in six-max re-entry tournament. Players in this event will be jockeying for a prize pool worth a guaranteed $100,000 and they’ll take their seats to 15,000 chips. This is a one-day event structured with 30-minute levels throughout and it’s expected to conclude some time after midnight.
Here are the details:
12PM: Event 9 – $570 Six-Max NLH (Re-Entry)
$100,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool
Players begin with 15,000 in chips and 30-minute levels
Late registration/re-entry available until start of Level 9
This is a one-day tournament and plays until completion
This new event is running alongside Day 3 of the big Ultimate Re-Entry tournament and much of our live reporting efforts will be concentrated there. However with only 11 players remaining in the Ultimate Re-Entry, we’ll pick up the mid and late stages of the $570 following it all the way down to a champion.
