Michael Mizrachi

Michael Mizrachi, who earned his way in to this event via his April Big Stack Special win last week, began the 10-handed final table in a neck-and-neck race for the short stack with Ran Shahar. Mizrachi was first at risk and it didn’t end well.

After Bryan Rosen limped from middle position, Mizrachi shoved the button. Rosen called and turned over QsQc. Mizrachi was behind with AdJd.

The flop came 7d5d3h giving Mizrachi a flush draw to go with his overcard. The turn 2c was a blank and Mizrachi needed to improve heading to the river. No help came as the dealer burned and turned the 9s on the river. Rosen won the pot and Mizrachi was eliminated 10th earning $3,445.

Mizrachi resides in Hollywood, FL and is one of poker’s biggest names. He owns more than $15,000,000 in reported earnings with two gold bracelet victories in the World Series of Poker $50,000 Poker Players Championship headlining an expansive resume.
