Event 6 Day 1G: Day 1 Ends

Play has come to a close in the Day 1G starting flight at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open for Event 6 ($125 no-limit hold’em – $150,000 guaranteed) and we have 38 players that have made it through from the field of 325 players. The chip leader from the flight is Sebastien Soares with 254,300 and notables that made it through include Michael Rocco (115,400) and Bill Mullins (44,400). The survivors will return at 1 p.m. ET on Thursday, August 15 for Day 2 action in this event.

Event 6 Day 1H: Play Begins

The Day 1G starting flight for Event 6 ($125 no-limit hold’em – $150,000 guaranteed) has begun with blinds at 25-50 and starting stacks worth 10,000. They will play 14 30-minute levels with a 15-minute break every two levels this evening and play should end just before 11 p.m.

The total field size is already 2,414 players so the prize pool us up to $241,400. There is still one starting flight that will take place on Wednesday so that number could grow to 3,000 and double the guaranteed prize pool. Here is a breakdown of the remaining schedule for today.

Wednesday, August 14: Day 1I – 7 p.m.
