Francis Margaglione won the 28th and final event of the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Tuesday in Hollywood, FL. The victory came at the hands of a 137-entry, $250 Deep Stack Turbo one-day tournament and earned Margaglione $7,000 following a four-way chop.

Margaglione is 53-year-old a real-estate investor from nearby Davie. His resume boasts over $120,000 in earnings, much of which came over the course of his three Seminole Hard Rock Poker victories.

Event 28 wrapped three-week SHRPO series that was headlined by the return of The Big 4, a four-tournament finale nominated for Innovation of the Year at the 2016 GPI American Poker Awards.

The flop was AhTd3c. Colman checked, Rettenmaier continued for 225,000, and Colman called. The turn was the 3d, and Colman check-called another 450,000. The river was the Jc. Colman checked for a third time, and Rettenmaier bet enough to cover his opponent. Colman quickly called all in for 1,010,000 total, putting himself at risk.

Rettenmaier showed Qh9d for no pair. Colman tabled KcQs, winning the pot and doubling up with a Broadway straight.

Dermot Blain limped in from the small blind and Nicholas Immekus raised to 160,000 out of the big blind. Blain moved all in and Immekus called.

Immekus was at risk and all in for about 1,400,000. Immekus showed AsTc and was dominated by Blain’s AhKs.

The board ran out Qs5d3sKh7d and Immekus was eliminated in third place. Blain took the pot with a pair of kings and will go heads-up with Bradley Snider for the title and the $246,400 first place prize.

Flight B is deep into the structure with play set to conclude at 12:45am local time. Those players fortunate enough to advance are set to join the 29 advancers from yesterday’s Flight A to comprise the full Day 2 field.
