We were starting to get a little worries when popular pro Nick Yunis did not show up for his Day 2. He was stacked big coming into the restart but he was getting (slowly) blinded down.

Event 36 players were sent on a 15-minute break after Level 17 and our starting Day 2 leader, Salomon Sutton, is still the leader and he added a bit more. He is up to 1,138,000 for the top stack followed by Adam Agaev with 786,000 and Kee Fredkove is up among them with 680,000.
They are now back on the regular break schedule with 40-minute levels until going to 60 in Level 17.

The $1,100 Limit Omaha 8 table quickly reached its final table this afternoon with nine players remaining and eight getting paid. It’s a tough lineup with Nicolas Milgrom leading and Yuval Bronshtein looking for his 11th career Hollywood win.
$50,000 Super High Roller NLH (Single Re-Entry) Structure Level 1: 500/1,000 with a 1,000 ante
The biggest buy-in tournament on the Showdown schedule gets underway at 1 pm with the $50,000 Super High Roller. It will be a small but special group of players going for the title.
Players start with 125K stacks and all levels last 40 minutes until going to 60 at the final table. Late registration and a single re-entry is available until the start of Level 10 at 9 pm following the 90-minute dinner break.

The $2,200 Deep Stack is off to a great start with plenty of room to great in the Grand Ballroom.
Some early members include Brian Altman, Joe McKeehe, David Moses Paul Snead, and last night’s $1K Turbo champ Michael Rocco and $10K Heads-Up winner Chance Kornuth.
We had two big tournaments restarting at noon with a lot of money and prestige on the line. In the back of the room, Event 36 is back underway for Day 2 of the $1,100 Triple Stack with 105 players returning and a prize pool of nearly $800,000.
H.O.R.S.E. tournaments are one of our most popular mix events and we put two of them on the Showdown schedule. The second one gets underway at noon with a $1,100 buy-in and two-day structure.
Players start with 30K in their stacks and all levels last 40 minutes. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 10 at 7:30 pm following the 60-minute dinner break.
The tournament will play through Level 15 and survivors at that point will bag up for a Day 2 return tomorrow at noon.
