Players Remaining: 19 of 1,222
Average Stack: 1,930,000 (64 big blinds)

Jon Turner raised from the cutoff and Shon Makaton three-bet out of the big blind. Turner called and the flop was Tc7c3s. Makaton moved all in for 875,000, which was most of Turner’s remaining chips.

Turner goes into the tank for several minutes and sloppily slams his chips onto the felt a couple times in frustration.

“You just have to have aces, right?” asked Turner while in the tank.

Makaton doesn’t respond and Turner eventually folds QsQc face-up. Makaton initially doesn’t show his hand and tosses them towards the muck.

“Show me a bluff, it would tilt me,” said Turner.

Makaton then grabs his cards before they are in the muck and shows pocket kings.

“I can’t lose when she is behind me,” said Makaton in reference to the massage therapist that’s been with him all day.

Shon Makaton – 1,490,000
Jon Turner – 1,150,000

On a flop of JhTs3d, Tim Reilly checked from under-the-gun and Ben Tarzia bet 75,000 from the cutoff. Reilly called and the turn was the Td.

Both players checked and the river was the 5d. Reilly quickly bet 400,000 and Tarzia took a few moments in the tank.

“Why so much?” asked Tarzia.

Reilly didn’t respond and eventually Tarzia called. Reilly tabled Tc9c, good for trip tens and Tarzia flashed QxJx as he mucked his hand.

“You’re running like god,” said Tarzia.

“I’m running pretty good,” responded Reilly.

Reilly takes the pot and has the chip lead as they are one elimination away from another re-draw.
