Championship Day 3: Final Four

$3,500 Championship No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 23: 10,000/20,000/3,000 Ante

Players came back from their last break feeling a little frisky. Nine players were sent to the rail in less than 30 minutes including pros Joe Serock, Jason Koon, and Zo Karim.

Serock was sent out at the same time as Kyle Knecht when they were both eliminated by Mark Dube. Serock’s TsTh and Knecht’s AsQc were no match for Dube’s AhAc.

Just 36 players remain with play set to freeze with 18 remaining.

Championship Day 3: Guarino Gone

$3,500 Championship No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 22: 8,000/16,000/2,000 Ante

Joelle Guarino was the chip leader at the end of Day 1B and was able to ride those chips to a deep finish in the Championship. Her run came to an end after she three-bet shoved for 370,000 after Alberto Rodriguez opened for 35,000.

Guarino took his time but finally called with AhQd to dominate her Ad5c.

“Did you think I had AK?” Guarino asked after he tabled his hand.

“I thought I was flipping.” Rodriguez responded.

It was even better than a flip and he hit the KsQc9d to leave Guarino looking for running miracle cards. None came and she was drawing dead after the Kh turn.
