Day 1B of Event 1 ($350 no-limit hold’em – $500,000 guaranteed prize pool) saw another large field of 622 players take their seats on Friday at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida; and they pumped the prize pool up to 1,253 total entries. The tournament clock shows that unofficially 144 players advanced to join the 121 that made it through Day 1A.
Among the professionals that advanced were Stu Paterson, Hans Winzeler, John Gordon, Zo Karim, Ylon Schwartz, and Michael Rocco.
