Opponent: 9h6h

Borukhovich had two pair queens and nines with a club draw but only ten outs on the river against his opponent’s trip nines. He got there on the Kc river for a king-high flush and grabbed a nice double.

Becker picked up most of his chips when his AdKd made a flush against an opponent’s ace-king off.

We have a great group in the Poker Room, working their way through a fun field trying to find a Day 2 bag. The prize pool is already over the $300,000 guarantee and we wonder how high our players can make it.

We have plenty of our regular friends in the field including our all-time wins leader Raminder Singh, Neil Blumenfield, Jason Wandling, Dmitry Savelyev, John King, Matt Kuba, and Solange Lucas.

There wasn’t much drama about whether the $1,700 Deepest Stack would reach its $300,000. Great turnouts in the first two flights meant it was a virtual lock coming into a busy Saturday of action.

From now until we close registration at 11 am tomorrow, the prize pool will continue to climb with each new entry.
