There are four big buy-in, big prize pool tournaments leading up to the Championship beginning with a $1,650 Purple Chip Bounty NLH on Sunday at 3pm with a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. $1,000 of each buy-in goes to the regular prize pool plus a $500 bounty on each player. This is a freeze-out tournament, no re-entries are allowed.

Many players are looking forward to the $2,200 Eight Game Mix running on Monday with a single re-entry option. The rotation includes 2-7 Triple Draw, Limit Hold’em, Limit Omaha/8, Razz, Stud, Stud/8, No Limit Hold’em, and Pot Limit Omaha.

Everyone loves a little short-handed action and Tuesday brings the $2,200 Six-Max NLH tournament with a $200,000 guaranteed prize pool. This is also a freeze-out and scheduled as a two-day event.

Wednesday is the final warm-up and it is a $1,100 No Limit Hold’em Turbo tournament. This will be the last big tournament before the Championship and is always a good time with a big crowd in town. It will move fast and be a lot of fun.
