Event 27 of the 2023 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $1,700 Purple Chip Bounty Six-Max No-Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry). A field of 209 entries generated a prize pool $209,000, more than doubling the guarantee. In addition, $104,500 was set aside for bounties. Taking it down was Rodney Turvin, winning outright for $50,455 and his first SHRP major series trophy.
This marked Turvin’s fourth final made and 12th cash in an SHRP major series event. The win also gives him nearly $1.3 million in career live tournament winnings per the Hendon Mob poker database.
