Flight B of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open $1,000,000 guarantee began today at 11am with 443 entries. Following 14 levels of play, it’s Lenny “The Dove” Duvdivan who leads a field of less than 100 remaining. Duvdivan owns more than 300,000 chips and will sleep on the overall chip lead for at least tonight. Joining Duvdivan toward the top of the counts from Flight B is Juan Endara who’s also flirting with the 300,000 mark. The pair of headliners joins the 79 advancers from Flight A — as well as the advancers from Flight C-H — for Day 2 Sunday at 1pm.

Complete, combined chip counts through Flight B will be posted within the hour.

The final level of the day is underway and the conclusion of play is less than 30 minutes away. Complete chip counts will be posted about an hour after action wraps. Here’s a look at some of the Flight B players still jockeying for position among Sunday’s Day 2 field:

In a three-way pot, Ido Ashkenazi was in early position facing off against a late position player and another player on the button. The flop laid and the button player moved all in out of turn for just over 50,000. After some clarification, action was on Ashkenazi and he moved all in for more. The late position player folded and the button was at risk.

The board ran out and Ashkenazi raked the pot. Ashkenazi, who won the Everglades Poker Open $350 good for a score of $30,000 and an RRPO Championship seat, now sits toward the middle of the counts with less than an hour to play in Flight B.

As the stacks thin so too does the field and only 144 of the original 443 starters remain in Flight B of the $1,000,000 guaranteed opener. Among those to hit the rail are Karl Manouchakian, Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Mukul Pahuja and Tampa ambassador Wally Maddah, Neil Blumenfield, Michael Newman and Steven Bennett.

With a stack of over 200,000, the Flight B chip leader is currently Juan Endara. Endara, a resident of Miami, appears to sit on roughly 212,500 which would be good enough to put him within the top 10 of the Flight A advancers from a few hours ago. Endara has a tough table with the likes of 2015 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year Ory Hen and a POY contender from last season Zoltan Czinkota. With over 175 big blinds and 1 hour and 45 minutes left to play, he’s in good position to bag a big stack heading to Day 2.

Those scores have accounted for over $90,000 in earnings in addition to numerous other deep runs in daily events.

The second break wrapped and registration is closed in Flight B of the Rock ‘n’ Roller Poker Open $360 buy-in, $1,000,000 guaranteed opener. The second of eight starting flights drew a field of 443 entries bringing the combined field to 886 and putting the event well on pace to best its seven-figure target.
