Dan Colman was in the small blind and got into a preflop confrontation with Lascelles Peart in the small blind.

Peart got his last 63,000 into the middle and was flipping with his KdQd against Colman’s 8s8c.

The flop was KcTd9d, which gave Peart the lead and a massive hand, which left Colman with one immediate out. The turn was the Jd, leaving Colman drawing dead to the 8d river.

“Six card straight flush,” said Colman as he began to pay off his debt.

Lascelles Peart – 138,000
Dan Colman – 290,000

Jeffrey Trudeau Jr

Victor Figueroa raised to 12,000 from the cutoff and Jeffrey Trudeau defended his big blind.

The flop was 8h5d2c and Trudeau checked. Figueroa bet 10,000 and Trudeau check-raised to 27,000. Figueroa asked Trudeau to move his arm so he could see his remaining stack.

Trudeau moved his arm and it wasn’t long before Figueroa moved all in. Trudeau called and was all in for about 100,000.

Figueroa showed TcTs and was up against Trudeau’s AsAc.

The turn was the 5c and the river was the 6d. Trudeau’s aces held up to double up in one of the few hands after dinner break. Figueroa was fourth in chips at the break, but is still in the top 20 chip counts after the hand.

Jeffrey Trudeau – 225,000
Victor Figueroa – 370,000

Stu Hankin

On the third round of hand-for-hand play, Stu Hankin burst the money bubble eliminating an unknown player in 80th place. On the fateful hand, the board laid 9h3c2s. Hankin was in the big blind with the unknown player in late position. The action was unknown, but the late position player had a bet of 11,500 in front of him while Hankin had 28,000 pushed out. Action was on the late position player and he raised to 66,500 leaving himself about 100,000 behind. It was Hankin’s turn to act and he shoved having the late position player well covered.

The late position player thought out loud making it known he put Hankin on five-four — a straight draw. The late position player called for his tournament life.

Hankin: Js9s for a top pair
Late position player: QdJd for queen-jack high

Turn and river: 6s5d

Hankin’s pair held and the late position player was eliminated on the bubble. The final 79 players locked up a payday of at least $4,900.

Stu Hankin – 528,000

Victor Figueroa

As the money bubble neared, Anthony Spinella and Victor Figueroa were tangled up in a big pot. With the board reading 9d6h6cTh, Spinella quickly moved all in for around 100,000 and Figueroa called just as fast.

Spinella: AcTd
Figueroa: 8s6s

Spinella did not look happy when he saw Figueroa’s hand and he could not catch a two-out ten on the river to exit in 81st place.

With 80 remaining and 79 getting paid, tournament staff paused the clock to begin hand-for-hand play.

Victor Figueroa – 545,000 (136 bb)

Marie Harrell

Former November Niner Josh Beckley put the last of his short stack in the middle with pockets jacks and Maria Harrell looked him up from the button with AsQc.

Beckley flopped a set of jacks on the JsTc8c board but Harrell had a flush draw/gut shot draw. The dealer didn’t wait long and put a club right on the 9c turn to leave Beckley drawing thin. He couldn’t find a river boat when it came 6h to leave Joe McKeehen as the sole member of the 2015 WSOP Main Event final table in the tournament.

Marie Harrell – 240,000 (60 bb)
Josh Beckley – Eliminated
