Saturday’s Action Focused Around Ultimate Re-Entry

Saturday was the first day of the 2017 Rock ‘N’ Roll Poker open that a trophy wasn’t awarded. All of the attention was on the final two flights of the $360 no limit hold’em ultimate re-entry event.

As expected, the final two flights were the biggest of the eight and they pushed the limits of how many players could fit in the tournament area. Day 1G drew 748 entries and Day 1H drew another 638 entries.

There was a double knockout on the bubble of Day 1G, which only allowed 73 players to advance, and the top 63 players made it through Day 1H.

The final two flights brought the field size to 3,570 and a prizepool of $1,071,000. There are 314 players coming back on Sunday at 1 p.m. for Day 2 of the event. It is scheduled to play down to a winner on Sunday.

The other event running on Sunday is a $360 no-limit hold’em black chip bounty, which is a one-day event. A complete preview of Sunday’s schedule will be posted in the morning.
