Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Brings Live Streaming and Live Updates to Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO) and $10 Million Guaranteed Championship Event August 8 – 29

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (July 31, 2013) – Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino  has announced the addition of a Live Updates Team to its Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO) that runs run August 8 – 29 with the $10 Million Guaranteed Championship Event August 22 – 28. The Live Updates Team, comprised of some of the poker industry’s finest in live streaming and reporting, will be bringing all of the action to SHRPO’s reading and viewing audience.

Throughout the 33-event series, inclusive of the $10 Million Guaranteed Championship Event, the Live Updates Team will keep followers posted from the tournament floor via a live featured table web stream by Rob Perelman, coupled with live updates, blog posts, photos, videos and social media covered by Jay “Whojedi” Newnum, BJ Nemeth, Ryan Lucchesi, Diana Cox, Mickey Doft and Will Thomas.

Perelman is a semi-professional poker player whose technology experience powers all of the tournament web streams at Commerce Casino in Los Angeles, Foxwoods Casino in Conn. and Bay 101 in San Jose. His eight years of poker TV experience include work on shows such as “World Series of Poker,” “High Stakes Poker,” “Poker After Dark” and “NBC National Heads-Up Championship.” He has also won an Emmy for the TV program entitled “The Pokerdome.”

With over 43 years of combined poker industry experience, Newnum, Nemeth, Lucchesi, Cox, Doft and Thomas will cover everything from chip counts and daily summaries to player interviews and photos. One or more of the members of the team has worked for BLUFF magazine, PokerNews, Card Player magazine, World Poker Tour, Card Player Poker Tour, World Series of Poker, European Poker Tour, PokerStars.tv, and Full Tilt Poker, not only in the United States, but on multiple continents.
