$600 Deep Stack NLH (Single Re-Entry Per Flight)
$500,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 1:  100/100
Flight D Entries:  480

The first three flights of Event 1 combined to put the prize pool at $999,600. Only one entry away from crossing over $1,000,000.

Clearly, that was going to happen as soon as cards went in the air but we know now exactly how many we will have at the start. Each flight has a cap of 480 unique players and Flight D hit that mark before action was underway. No new entries will be allowed into Flight D but everyone who is in the game has a single re-entry option if they want/need to exercise it.

They’ll start with 20,000 deep stacks and Day 1 levels will last 30 minutes, increasing to 40 minutes on Day 2. The re-entry period will remain open until the start of Level 9 at 10:30 pm and they will continue to play until only 12.5% of the field remains. Those players will be in the money and advance to Day 2 on Sunday.

• $500,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool
• Players begin with 20,000 in chips
• Day 1 levels last 30 minutes; Day 2 levels last 40 minutes
• Late registration until start of Level 9 (10:30pm)
• Single re-entry per flight
• 480 players max per flight
• Day 1 will end when field reaches 12.5%

Registration closed for the 2021 Poker Showdown HORSE event and it followed in the footsteps of yesterday’s Limit Omaha 8 tournament; setting a brand new record.

Event 3 drew 153 entries to the freeze-out tournament to easily beat the record set a decade ago during the 2011 Poker Showdown. That tournament drew 128 entries and the record held up until today.

2021 Poker Showdown (April) – 153 entries
2011 Poker Showdown (April) – 128 entries
2021 LHPO (January) – 102 entries
2013 SHRPO (August) – 102 entries
2018 SHRPO (August) – 99 entries

We will post the prize pool and payout information as soon as it is available.

Flight C is taking its time playing down towards the money with 30 tables still in action. Money bubble play will begin when the field reaches 84 players and will end when 83 still have chips to advance to Day 2.

There are few monster stacks so far but Mike Jones looks like one of the biggest so far. He sits with 162,000 as we head into the last portion of the day but that will not hold as the end-of-day chip lead. Everyone has some work left to get done.
