Event 2 of the 2021 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was a $400 Limit Omaha 8 (Freeze-Out). A field of 159 players created a prize pool of $53,265 and the biggest Limit Omaha 8 tournament in any Seminole Hard Rock Poker major series.

After nearly 13 hours of play, the remaining four players agreed to a deal. The chip leader at the time was Donald Maloney, making him the official Event 2 winner.

For Maloney, this marked his second cash in a Limit Omaha 8 event at the Seminole Hard Rock. At the 2018 Lucky Hearts Poker Open, Maloney took third place in a $300 buy-in of this event for $3,225.

With his score tonight, Maloney pushed past the $1.225 million earnings mark according to the Hendon Mob database.
