Registration closed for the $600 7-Card Stud tournament with 34 entries creating a prize pool worth $17,680. A great turnout for our first straight-up Stud game since the SHRPO series in 2013.
The last five players will make the money with $1,515 for a min-cash and $7,150 up top plus the Showdown trophy.
Flight B of Showdown Event 1 starts at 5 pm and it will build on the great start from the morning session. The tournament is a $400 Deep Stack with a $1,000,000 and six more flights after this one.
Players start with 20,000 deep stacks and all levels last 30 minutes on Day 1, then increase to 40 minutes on Day 2 and 60 with the start of Level 24. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 9:30 pm.
Flight B will continue until 12.5% of the field remains and those players will bag their chips for a Day 2 return on Sunday at 1 pm in the money.

Jay Romano
