The hours are counting towards the Poker Showdown Championship and we have one of the last warmups before the big game kicks off. Event 53 is a $1,100 Deep Stack with a $100,000 guarantee, a two-day structure, and gets underway at 11 am.

Players get 25K to start and all levels last 30 minutes until going to 40 for the final table. Late registration is available until the start of Level 11 at 4:45 pm and they may refire as often as needed during that time.

They will continue until they reach the last nine players and they return tomorrow at the final table for the title.

2024 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Event 52 Champion Jim Collopy

Event 52 of the 2024 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown was the $50,000 Super High Roller No-Limit Hold’em (Single Re-Entry), drawing 12 entries for a prize pool of $582,000.

Emerging victorious was Jim Collopy for a first-place prize of $291,000. The win was Collopy’s second trophy triumph of the day, as he returned for Day 2 of Event 45 at noon and earned top honors there. It was Collopy’s 3rd SHRP major series trophy victory overall, as his first came during the 2021 LHPO in a $5K NLHE event.

Collopy’s largest score at the Seminole Hard Rock was during the 2022 SHRPO when he finished second in the Championship event to Sergio Aido who, coincidentally, was who Collopy defeated heads-up to win tonight.
