Landon Tice is in the field a few months after collecting the biggest score of his young career. The Boca Raton grinder played the $1K MSPT Main Event at the Venetian in November and outlasted 1,123 entries to earn more than $200,000. That was also his first live recorded cash, not too shabby.

While the LHPO Championship final table is playing down in the back of the Seminole Ballroom, the one-day $5K tournament is having a time of its own in the front.
The tournament flew right by its $100,000 guarantee early in the day and the prize pool is over $350,000 after the first break. The record for attendance in this tournament is 117 and they should hit that with late registration available until 6:40 pm.
Randall Emmett looks like one of the big stacks after the first break after the tv/movie producer ran his stack up to 52,000 in four levels. Emmett has two big wins and both came within days of each other; taking the top spot in the Aria $10K High Roller on October 3 of 2019 for $108,000 then again in the Aria $10K High Roller on October 5 for another $102,600.
It’s the last full day of the 2021 Lucky Hearts Poker Open series and we have two big tournaments to finish it off. The first starts at noon with the popular one-day $5,000 buy-in No Limit Hold’em tournament. Event 25 has a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool and if recent trends continue, it’s going to be huge.
They’ll start out with 20,000 deep stacks and play 30 minutes levels throughout the day. Late registration is available until the start of Level 12 at 6:40 pm following the dinner break with unlimited re-entries available.
We expect a very talented crowd today for the biggest buy-in tournament on the schedule.
