Christopher Lovett

With the board reading out to the turn AsKh5s8h, Steve Buckner bet 100,000 to get one fold and Christopher Lovett moved all in for about 450,000. Buckner had 415,000 behind and called after a short think.

Buckner: Ah5h
Lovett: 8s8d

Bucker flopped aces up but Lovett turned a set of eights. Buckner had 11 outs to avoid the payout line but the 4c river did not give him the flush or boat he needed.

Steve Buckner – Eliminated in 150th Place ($1,835)

Blinds increased to 10,000/20,000 with a 20,000 ante and the average stack is about 570,000 (29 bb).

Steve Bucker (left), Evan Teitelbaum (center), and Sheddy Siddiqui (right)

It looked like something was brewing on Table 8 with some tough players. Action folded around to Steve “Yo Cuz” Buckner on the button and he raised to 40,000. Evan Teitelbaum called from the small blind and Sheddy Siddiqui raised it up to 160,000 from the big.

Buckner took his time, counted out the call and his stack, and looked at Siddiqui’s stack before he folded. Teitelbaum thought for a minute as well before he released his hand. The two chuckled a bit before Siddiqui tabled the powerful 4d2d as he scooped the pot.

“That better make the blog!” Siddiqui laughed.

Sheddy Siddiqui – 560,000 (37 bb)
