Day 12 of Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Concludes

The 2016 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown is nearing the two-week mark and another Trophy was awarded on Sunday afternoon, while two other events moved very close to a final table.

Gilbert Silva won the $350 No Limit Hold’em after coming out on top of a six-way chop, taking home $15,000.

While Silva was winning the only trophy awarded, both the $1,650 No Limit Hold’em Purple Chip Bounty and the $570 No Limit Hold’em Deep Stack Re-Entry both played down to 11 players. Both events have serious poker talent at the top of the leaderboard.

2015 WSOP Main Event runner-up Josh Beckley has a big chip lead in the purple chip bounty and three-time bracelet winner Rob Mizrachi bagged up the chip lead.

Both of those re-start at 2 p.m. on Monday and will play down to a winner. The $570 No Limit Hold’em Double Black Chip Bounty kicks off at noon and is scheduled to be a one-day event.

Here’s a detailed look at Monday’s Schedule:

  • 12 p.m. – $570 No Limit Hold’em Double Black Chip Bounty ($50K GTD Prizepool, Single Re-Entry)
  • 2 p.m. – Day 3 – $570 No Limit Hold’em Deep Stack Re-Entry

After a 14 hour day of poker, Day 2 of the $570 No Limit Hold’em Deep Stack Re-Entry has come to a close and there are 11 players remaining from the original field of 2,923.

Rob Mizrachi leads the final 11 players with 9.8 million in chips. He’s one of the most accomplished poker players on the planet with over $5.5 million in tournament earnings and three World Series of Poker Bracelets to his name.

It’s not going to be an easy final day for Mizrachi, however, as he is joined at the top of the counts accomplished players in their own right.

Ruslan Dykshteyn, Safiya Umerova and Darren Rabinowitz join Mizrachi at the top of the counts.

They are currently all guaranteed at least $14,615, but they are shooting for the $254,205 first place money. Play resumes on Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. and they will play down to a winner.
