Viktor Kovachev
Viktor Kovachev

Ren Lin was in the small blind, and took a look at Viktor Kovachev’s stack in the big blind (roughly 300K) before moving all in.

Kovachev called all in for about 300,000 with Ks5s, and needed it to hold to stay alive against Lin’s 9h7s.

The board came 8d7h4d7dJs — Lin paired his seven on the flop and turned trips, while Kovachev flopped a gutshot straight draw that never got there. Lin won the pot with his trip sevens to eliminate Kovachev in ninth place.

Ren Lin  –  1,175,000  (24 bb)
Viktor Kovachev  –  Eliminated in 9th Place  ($21,510)
