Event 2 of the 2021 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open was a $400 Limit Omaha 8 (Freeze-Out). A field of 100 players took part and in the end, a four-handed real was reached. The chip leader at the time was Yuval Bronshtein, making him the official Event 2 winner.
For Bronshtein, it’s his second SHRP trophy. Back in January, he won this same event, also in a four-way deal.
“It’s pretty nice,” Bronshtein said afterward. “I won this one in January, and right after that had two second-place finishes in mixed events. Good start to the series for sure.”
The victory pushes Bronshtein past the $1.63 million mark in tournament winnings according to the Hendon Mob database. A mixed-game specialist, Bronshtein also boasts a World Series of Poker gold bracelet, won in 2019 in No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball.
Originally from Israel, Bronshtein lived in Atlanta for a while before moving to South Florida in 2019. This score was his ninth mixed-game tournament cash in a Seminole Hard Rock major series since arriving in the Sunshine state.
After playing four-handed for a little while, the remaining four players agreed to a deal.
