By the day’s end, all six starting flights were finished and there were 2,923 entrants officially in the field, which generated a prizepool of $1.461 million. The prizepool shattered the $1 million guarantee on the event, with the top 250 finishers earning a payday.
A min-cash is worth $1,223, but first place is worth $254,504. Day 2 commences at 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon and there are 567 players returning after surviving their respective flights.
Along with Day 2 of this event, other events get cards in the air on Sunday. There is a $350 No Limit Hold’em single re-entry with a $50,000 guarantee that starts at noon and a $1,650 No Limit Hold’em Purple Chip Bounty with a single re-entry that kicks off at 3 p.m.
