Super High Roller: Adrian Mateos Doubles into Lead; Sean Winter Eliminated

$50,000 Super High Roller (Re-Entry)
Level 11: 2,000/4,000 with a 500 Ante

Adrian Mateos

There was already about 130,000 in the pot as the river card arrived on an AdQsTd8hTs board. In heads-up action, Sean Winter checked from the small blind, and Adrian Mateos moved all in for 231,000 on the button.

Winter slipped into the tank, and he pondered for long enough that Mateos called the clock on him. “I never tank. This is the longest tank of my career, and you call time on me?” Winter asked. As the floorman counted down the last 10 seconds, Winter called to put Mateos at risk.

There was never much danger for Mateos; he showed QhQd for queens full, and Winter open-mucked Ax8x as he paid his debt to the largest pot of the day.

Mateos surged into the chip lead with that big pot, while Winter was left with just 9,000 chips and eliminated a couple hands later.
