With the board showing 10h10s3s5c on the turn, Kirk Steele checked from the small blind, and Brock Wilson bet 40,000 from the big blind. Byron Kaverman folded from the cutoff, and Jonathan Jaffe raised from the button to 250,000.

Steele folded, and Wilson quickly called all in for 230,000.

“That’s not good,” said Jaffe.

Wilson showed Jd10d for trip tens, and Jaffe turned over Ah5h. Jaffe was drawing dead with two pair, tens and fives.

The meaningless river card was the 7s, and Wilson won the pot with his trip tens to double up in chips.

Brock Wilson  –  595,000  (40 bb)
Jonathan Jaffe  –  225,000  (15 bb)

With 10 players remaining from 39 entries, the average chip stack is about 490,000 (33 big blinds). The final six players will finish in the money, earning at least $113,490 each.

Action is scheduled to continue tonight until there are nine players remaining for tomorrow’s final table.
