Players are rubbing the sleepy dirt from their eyes and finally making it into the ballroom for the second flight of Event 7.
There are 10 tables in early action but one has a tough lineup of local regulars. Oley Vayman, Steven McKoy, and Elliott Zaydman all drew the same table and it won’t be quiet. The ballroom is beginning to fill up as we expect a busy day.
It will be a busy day in the ballroom once again with five separate tournaments running in different areas. The early shift of poker players will be here for the second flight of Event 7, a $350 buy-in Deep Stack tournament with a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The first flight drew 162 entrants last night and the tournament is well on pace to pass the guarantee. Just 31 of those entrants will return on Wednesday with a chance at the title.
Players kick things off with 20,000 stacks and play 30-minute levels. Late registration or re-entry is available until the start of Level 9, approximately 3:30pm, with playing ended at the end of 14 levels.
Cards are just about ready to fly in the first start of the day.
