Event 1: Elsarelli Deep Sixed, Pappas Ousted

$570 Deeper Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 29: 40,000/80,000/10,000 ante

A horrible break for Matthew Elsarelli brought his outsanding run in Event 1 to brutal finish.  Elsarelli called David DiBernardi and was in a dominant position holding 7c7s against DiBernardi’s 7h6h.  But a board of 3cAd6s6dKd gave DiBernadi trips and left Elsarelli with only a few chips which he lost on the next hand and exited in 20th place.  John Pappas then missed a straight draw was knocked out in 19th place.

The final two tables are being redrawn and 18 player remain alive for the Event 1 championship and the $174,010 payout.
