John Rembert Jr. won Event 3 of the Fun in the Sun at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood on Wednesday evening. Rembert Jr.  topped a field of 93 entries in the series’ $350 Black Chip Bounty No Limit Hold’em tournament. A deal was reached between the final five players and Rembert Jr.’s standing as the chip leader at the time earned him the official victory

Rembert Jr. resides in Hallandale, Florida and the victory marks the first at the Seminole Hard Rock for 38-year-old father of two.

Steven Richardson raised all in from the cutoff for about 65,000 and found action from Jorge Gomez in the small blind, who promptly tabled . Richardson trailed with and failed to catch up, ending his run in sixth place.

Matt Yorra raised to 13,000 from under the gun, Steven Richardson three-bet shoved from the hijack for 22,000, John Rembert called from the cutoff, and Yorra called.

Yorra and Rembert proceeded to check down the board.
