Michael Newman entered today after already bagging a nice stack in Event 1 and he’s doing well. Even though he’s not a big fan of the game, he is leading the way with 121,000 after the second break with John Binns in second with 101,000.

While things are already hopping in the ballroom with the seventh flight of Event 1, we have another new one-day event kicking off on the back tables. A perfect four-card outlet for anyone already set up for Day 2.

Event 4 is a $360 buy-in Pot Limit Omaha tournament with a one-day structure for plenty of action on a Saturday afternoon. The tournament will draw players who prefer the non-stop moved involved with PLO and those who want to win a trophy in a single day.

Each entrant will start with a 10,000 stack and play 30-minute levels throughout the day. Late registration is open until the start of Level 9 at 4:30pm and they can re-enter as many times as they’d like if they go busto. They will have a dinner break around 6:30pm and then return to play down to the next new champion.

Action is underway and we’ll keep one eye on them as they progress through the day.

  • Players begin with 10,000 in chips and 30-minute levels
