On a flop of AcKsKd, Anthony Spinella checked from the big blind and Tyler Patterson checked back from the hijack. The turn was the 3c and Spinella checked again.

There were several eliminations in quick succession after Justin Zaki’s elimination. They are down to the final nine and have combined to the unofficial final table of nine players.

Niall Farrell is leading the way with a massive chip lead over the field. Everybody is guaranteed at least a cash of $7,640, but they are all within arm’s reach of the $93,208 first place prize.

After the next elimination, the remaining eight players will earn credit for making a final table.

Justin Zaki moved all in from the small blind for about 40,000 and Niall Farrell called from the big blind. Zaki tabled Ad7d and was in trouble against Farrell’s JcJs.

The board ran out 9c4c4s2hQc and Farrell dragged the pot. Zaki, a Seminole Hard Rock Poker Team Member from Tampa, hit the rail in 13th place and earned $6,303.

Farrell takes the chip lead from Malka and moves over the 400,000 chip mark.

We missed the action, but Yevgeniy Timoshenko was getting up from his seat and David Malka was collecting the chips. Malka was showing pocket aces and is the chip leader as they inch toward the final table.

“You’ve been playing very well this last half hour,” said Tyler Patterson with a laugh. “You just get aces twice and bust people.”

Malka laughed along as he stacked his chips. Malka, a California poker pro and business owner, has been on a tear in the last few months on the tournament circuit.

Coming off cashes at WPT L.A. Poker Classic and WPT Bay 101, he won his first WSOP Circuit ring at the Bicycle Casino just two weeks ago. This is his first event of the series and is primed to make another deep run.

Casey Yontz moved all in from the hijack for about 60,000 and Faraz Jaka called on the button. Everybody else got out of the way and Yontz’s tournament life was on the line.

Jaka showed AhKc and had Yontz’s AdJs dominated. The board ran out 8d6c4cTc5s and Jaka’s big slick held up to eliminate Yontz. This is Yontz’s second consecutive day with a cash after finishing eighth in last night’s $1,100 No Limit Hold’em.

Jaka, a Seminole Hard Rock Poker Team Member, is one of the most decorated pros left in the field. He has over $5 million in live tournament earnings and several millions more online. he dragged the pot and is one of the biggest stacks remaining with two tables remaining.

The small blind checked again and Malka bet 11,100. The small blind quickly called and the river was the 6c. The small blind checked again and Malka moved all in for effectively the small blind’s remaining 24,000.

The small blind tanked for about six minutes and then eventually folded. Malka dragged the pot and moved well into the six-figure chip counts.

Adam Geyer raised to 4,000 from the hijack and Harrison Gimbel moved all in from the big blind for about 27,000. Geyer called with Ac9c and was in the lead against Gimbel’s KsJs.

The flop was Kc8c7c and Geyer flopped the nut flush to leave Gimbel drawing to runners. The turn was the 6s and the river was the 2d to eliminate Gimbel and give the pot to Geyer.

With the elimination of Gimbel, a table is broken and the field is down to its final four tables.
