The second biggest buy-in tournament on the schedule is set to go and it will attract some of the best players in the game. Event 22 is the $10,000 WPT Finale with a $2 Million Guarantee and players are limited to a single entry into the huge game.

The structure is deep and slow allowing players to use all the tricks in their bag. They sit down to 40,000 starting stacks and 60-minute levels at the start. They switch to 90 minutes long after Level 14 but that will be tomorrow afternoon.

Day 1 is scheduled to play through Level 8 around midnight before bagging up for the night. Late registration is available until the start of Day 2, Monday at noon, and they will still have 33 big blinds if they chose to jump in that late.

With more than 75 seats awarded via satellite, it will be a nice group of our local regulars mixed in with top pros. Cards go in the air at the top of the hour and we will follow along the entire time.
