Now, he’s competing for his share of a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool and yet another Seminole Hard Rock Poker victory.

Phil Hui

Flight B is showing a steady increase in players since cards went in the air just under an hour ago. The clock reads 166 entered to this point with no shortage of notables making up the field. One of those standouts is World Series of Poker bracelet winner Phil Hui.

Hui, who owns more than $775,000 in career earnings, recently lead out for 4,500 on a 9h7d5h7s6s board. His opponent made it 9,000 and Hui called after some deliberation. The opponent flipped over 7x6x for sevens-full and Hui’s cards hit the muck. He now claims about 11,000 chips from 20,000 starting.

Flight A is in the last level before the break of the day; they have 30 more minutes before they can see the end of the day when play resumes.

Seminole Hard Rock Poker team member Mukul Pahuja has some work to do if he wants to advance from this flight. He’s riding the short stack but the former WPT Player of the Year has the skill to get it done.

Besides his WPT accomplishments, Pahuja has $4.4 million in career earnings, three WSOP Circuit rings, eight tournament victories (including a trophy from this series in 2013), nine six-digit cashes, and a $872,000 payday when he finished third in the 2013 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open Championship.
