It only took two hands to form the Event 9 final table and they got there when Seminole Hard Rock Poker regular Zoltan Czinkota took a shot to double up.

He limped with QhTc and Casey Kaplan shipped all-in next to act. Czinkota took his time to think it out and called at risk to see Kaplan’s AcKh.

Czinkota needed to catch but the board ran all-low 4h3d2d7d4s to send him out in 11th place. Tournament staff paused the clock to redraw the final table ten.

Six starting flights and 14 hours of work on Day 2 weren’t enough to play down from 2,923 entrants to a winner. There were 11 players still around when play was haulted at 3am and there are coming back to the ballroom to determine the big winner.

Rob Mizrachi highlights the talented few returning but he’ll have some work to do against the other ten players including reigning Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year Ory Hen.

They are taking their seats, unbagging their chips, and will be back underway shortly. They will combine down to the final table after the first elimination today.

Day 12 of Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Concludes

The 2016 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown is nearing the two-week mark and another Trophy was awarded on Sunday afternoon, while two other events moved very close to a final table.

Gilbert Silva won the $350 No Limit Hold’em after coming out on top of a six-way chop, taking home $15,000.

While Silva was winning the only trophy awarded, both the $1,650 No Limit Hold’em Purple Chip Bounty and the $570 No Limit Hold’em Deep Stack Re-Entry both played down to 11 players. Both events have serious poker talent at the top of the leaderboard.

2015 WSOP Main Event runner-up Josh Beckley has a big chip lead in the purple chip bounty and three-time bracelet winner Rob Mizrachi bagged up the chip lead.

Both of those re-start at 2 p.m. on Monday and will play down to a winner. The $570 No Limit Hold’em Double Black Chip Bounty kicks off at noon and is scheduled to be a one-day event.

Here’s a detailed look at Monday’s Schedule:

  • 12 p.m. – $570 No Limit Hold’em Double Black Chip Bounty ($50K GTD Prizepool, Single Re-Entry)
  • 2 p.m. – Day 3 – $570 No Limit Hold’em Deep Stack Re-Entry
  • 2 p.m. – Day 2 – $1,650 No Limit Hold’em Purple Chip Bounty
