A player limped in from under the gun and Curt Kohlberg raised to 2,200 on the button. Jacquelyn Scott called out of the small blind and the limper called as well.

Action checked to the river as the board ran out Kh4s3cQs2d. Scott checked on the river, the limper checked and Kohlberg moved all in for about 18,000.

Scott thought for about a minute and called. Kohlberg announced “Ace-high” and tabled Ad9h. Scott showed KdJh and the 2015 WSOP Ladies Event champion won the pot with a pair of kings.

Keven Stammen

The Championship field is about to hit their dinner break and we found one of the hottest players in the game at the moment.

Keven Stammen has cashed three times this month for more than $200,000 combined. He won a Heartland Poker Tour opening event in Indiana and closed out that series with the Main Event title. Stammen followed that up with a deep run in this week’s Borgata Fall Poker Open Main Event and finished in third place for another $100,000.

Wally Maddah

The Flight A Championship entry count clicked up to 250 with 30 minutes remaining before dinner break to put $800,000 in the prize pool on the way to the $2 Million Guarantee.

Seminole Hard Rock Tampa poker ambassador Wally Maddah has a tough table draw but he’s making the most of his seat. He has Matt Waxman on this right, Jennifer Parker and AJ Kelsall on this left. Still, Maddah has more than doubled his 30,000 starting stack and sits with 68,400 as the tournament moves into the latter stages.

Jennifer Parker

With the board reading TsTh4c, Matt Waxman checked from early position and Jennifer Parker bet 11,000. Waxman thought for a second, then moved all in by tossing in a stack of chips. After counting down the stack, he was all in for 30,375 and Parker would be left short if she called and lost.

After a few minutes to think it through, she released her hand and stayed over 50,000 as Waxman built himself over 50,000 as well.

Matt Waxman – 51,000 (128 bb)
Jennifer Parker – 54,400 (136 bb)

Matt Waxman

The Championship is just about set to hit their second break of the day as the field continues to increase. They’ll step away for another 15 minutes and gather themselves for the next two hours, after which they will enjoy a 90-minute dinner.

After four levels, we have our first former RRPO champion in the house. Matt Waxman captured the RRPO Championship title in 2013, the last time the series was held in the old Poker Room before growing big enough for the ballroom. In addition to his RRPO title, Waxman also captured his first WSOP bracelet earlier that year and he won a WSOP Circuit Main Event ring in 2010 for his personal Triple Crown.

Eduardo Rodriguez

We caught up with Table 74 with the board reading JsJd8c and Eduardo Rodriguez check. The button player bet 9,300 and Rodriguez pulled a check-raise all in for 29,000.

His opponent thought for a few moments and finally called with QsQd. The overpair to board looked good but his two pair was in a lot of trouble versus Rodriguez’ AdAh. He faded the 6s turn and hit the overkill full house on the Ac river for a big double up.

Eduardo Rodriguez – 55,000 (275 bb)
