Matas Cimbolas opened to 200,000 from the hijack, Ari Engel called in the cutoff, and Joao Simao called in the small blind leaving 430,000 behind. Darryll Fish moved all in from the big blind, Cimbolas and Engel folded but Simao called at risk.

Simao had two suited cards but the king was dead. The flop did not bring his miracle though he picked up an straight draw on the turn. The river paired his hand but it provided Fish with a Broadway straight to send Simao out in eighth place.

Cyr called and the river prompted a 155,000 bet from Engel and Cyr sat back to think about it. He counted out his chips, stacked and restacked and finally tossed in a call. Engel showed for two pair tens and eights, Cyr double-checked his cards before mucking them at the dealer.
