Today’s 12pm $300 turbo cruised into the money and all the way to the final table in a flash. From 204 starting, the event is down to 10 following Jason Marshman’s 11th-place elimination.

Headlining the action is David Bradshaw who broke through for a major Seminole victory this past December winning the Winter Poker Open Championship in Tampa for over $150,000.

The top 26 finish in the money with a min-cash worth $389. Payouts escalate from there and top out in the form of a $12,797 first prize. In addition, the winner earns a seat in the property’s 14-player WPT Finale/Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown Championship satellite.

Level 11 is moments away from expiring and the guarantee in today’s 12pm $300 Deep Stack Turbo has nearly been doubled with a growing field of 188 entries. The day started with a targeted prize pool of $25,000. Now, nearly three hours later that number sits at over $47,000 and is sure to pass the $50,000 mark shortly.

Event 3: Sunday Turbo Lovers

The last day of the opening weekend is upon us and we have a nice, fast tournament for those who couldn’t find a bag in Event 1.

Event 3 is a $300 Deep Stack NLH Turbo event with a $25,000 guaranteed prize pool. It will play quickly and it will crown our next champion before the day gets too old.

Players sit down to 20,000 deep starting stacks and the tournament runs 15-minute levels from start to finish. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 15 around 4pm. They will continue to play down to the final table and we will have our next Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown champion later this evening.

Most of the room will be taken up by the Event 1 restart but there is a nice group of players taking their seats for the start of Event 3 in a few moments.

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood Property Update

Preparations are underway for the development of an iconic hotel tower and resort:

  • Parking – Poker players are encouraged to park in Winner’s Way Garage to access both the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown tournament space and The Poker Room
  • The Poker Room – Players may access the poker room by entering through the main lobby or via the exterior entrance on the opposite end of Winner’s Way Garage.
  • Inside hotel – Services and amenities inside the hotel will remain open along with regularly scheduled events and entertainment.
