Kiletto: Ah6c
Gagnon: QsQh

The board ran out 9h8h3c2d7d, and Kiletto could not catch up. Gagnon won the pot with a pair of queens, eliminating her just before the second break.

“Tomorrow,” she said, indicating she’ll be back to try again on Day 1C.

Jean Gagnon – 46,000 (77 bb)
Lily Kiletto – Eliminated

Event 9 Flight B: Victor Figueroa Takes from Frankie Flowers

$570 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 7: 250/500 with a 75 Ante
Flight B Entries: 324

The player under the gun raised to 1,200 and Frankie Flowers called from the next seat over. Adam Horowitz called from the cutoff, Joe Riddick called from the button, the player in the small blind called, and Victor Figueroa called from the big blind.

All six players checked to the turn of a Js4h2h5c board where Figueroa bet 5,400. The under-the-gun player folded, Flowers called, Horowitz and Riddick folded, and the player in the small blind called.

The river was the Jd and the small blind checked to Figueroa who bet 7,800. Only Flowers called.

Figueroa tabled Jc10d for trip jacks with a ten kicker, Flowers mucked, and Figueroa collected the pot.

Victor Figueroa – 54,000 (108 bb)
Frankie Flowers – 49,000 (98 bb)

Event 9 Flight B: Ronit Chamani Off to a Flying Start

$570 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 7: 250/500 with a 75 Ante
Flight B Entries: 324

Ronit Chamani was down under the starting stack on the first break, but this second set of levels appears to be going quite well for her. Chamani has about 75,000 chips in front of her at the moment, and she was just responsible for the elimination of one of the other ladies in the field.

Chamani (under the gun) and the player in the big blind were heads-up on the turn of a 9c6h2s3s board. There was about 5,000 in the pot, and the big blind ended up all in for her last 8,000. Chamani called to put her at risk with Kd9s, and her kicker had her poised for the knockout against the big blind’s 7d9h.

The river was the blank 2c, and Chamani won the pot to climb to her current count.

Ronit Chamani – 75,000 (150 bb)

Event 9 Flight B: John Depersio Eliminated

$570 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)

In three-way action, John Depersio was all in for his last 6,900 preflop, the player in the cutoff was all in for 8,200, and Chris Brown had both players covered and at risk.

Depersio: Jc9s
Cutoff: As6s
Brown: QsQc

The board ran out KhTc3h2c5d, and Brown’s queens held to earn him the double knockout.

Event 9 Flight B: Alex Foxen Finds Four Queens

$570 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 6: 200/400 with a 50 Ante
Flight B Entries: 306

Alex Foxen was heads up and out of position on the river of a KcQd9s9hQh board. There was about 16,000 or so in the middle, and Foxen moved all in for 14,075. His opponent spent a long while in the tank, then called to put Foxen at risk.

Never in danger, Foxen showed QsQc, doubling up with quad queens.

Alex Foxen – 44,000

Event 9 Flight B: Mukul Pahuja Rejoins, Shoves

$570 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 5: 150/300 with a 50 Ante
Flight B Entries: 290

Mukul Pahuja had just less than a starting stack on the first break a few minutes ago, but things must have taken a turn for the worse shortly thereafter. The SHRP Team member just appeared with a new registration ticket and a fresh stack of chips, and he’s apparently come in a mood to play some poker this evening.

In his second hand at the new table, Pahuja opened to 800 in early position, and two players behind him called. The big blind three-bet to 4,200, though, and Pahuja four-bet shoved for 19,900 total. All three opponents quickly folded in turn, and Pahuja won the pot with no showdown.

Mukul Pahuja – 26,300

Event 9 Flight B: A.J. Kelsall vs. Raminder Singh

$570 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 4: 100/200 with a 25 Ante
Flight B Entries: 271

A.J. Kelsall and Raminder Singh both ran deep in a recent WSOP Circuit event in South Florida, an event ultimately won by Singh. The two have drawn the same starting table in this event, sitting side-by-side in the middle of the room. They were involved in a recent pot together, too.

It began with Stephen Smith opening to 550 under the gun. Kelsall called in the cutoff, Singh called on the button, and the big blind defended to create four-way action.

The flop was Tc5c2s. The big blind checked, and Smith continued for 800. Kelsall raised to 2,000, Singh called, and the big blind folded. “All right, I’m confused,” Smith said, then folded.

Heads-up now, the turn was the 8d. Kelsall checked, Singh bet 4,000, and Kelsall called. The river was the 2c. Kelsall took a peek at Singh’s remaining stack of less than 9,000, then bet enough to cover him. Singh considered for a couple minutes, lamenting that he’d likely run into a flush, then folded.

Kelsall flashed QcJc to confirm Singh’s suspicions as the dealer pushed him the pot. He’s off to a hot start, having more than tripled his starting stack before the first break.

A.J. Kelsall – 64,000
Raminder Singh – 8,850

Event 9 Flight B: Darren Rabinowitz Up Early

$570 Deep Stack No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry)
Level 3: 75/150 with a 25 Ante
Flight B Entries: 246

Darren Rabinowitz just joined the field during this level, and he’s wasted no time getting to work. Rabinowitz opened this most recent pot to 400 from early position, and three players called, including the big blind.

The flop was Kc9d4c. The big blind and Rabinowitz checked, and the next player bet 1,125. The player in position called, and the big blind check-raised to 3,500. Rabinowitz re-raised to 8,500, the two players trapped in the middle folded, and the big blind called the remainder to see the turn.

It was the 7h. The big blind checked, Rabinowitz moved all in for 7,575 effective, and the big blind called to put himself at risk.

Rabinowitz: Kh9h (kings up)
Big blind: KsJs (pair of kings)

The river was the 3s, and Rabinowitz won the knockout pot with two pair.

Darren Rabinowitz – 39,500
