Level 3: 75/150 | Structure
Entries: 214

2016 SHRPO heads-up champion and eight-time Circuit gold ring winner Ari Engel

The entry count recently grew up over the 200 threshold and we spotted one of the Circuit’s most decorated players in the action, Ari Engel.

Engel claimed a prestigious title here in Hollywood during the August 2016 Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open winning the $1,650 heads-up tournament. The Canadian pro owns a slew of other titles including eight Circuit gold rings and more than $560,000 in earnings on the tour.

While South Florida is familiar territory to the traveling grinder, this series marks the first time he’s able to add to his Circuit legend at the Seminole Hard Rock.

The large turnout has filled up a portion of the main ballrooms here at the Seminole Hard Rock, and the meeting rooms across the hall are now in play as well.
